'Cloud Atlas’ directors reveal more than just back story. The directors yes plural of the much buzzed about, epic film "Cloud Atlas" have posted a video explaining how their ginormous cinematic production came together.

"The movie is hard to sell," explains one of the film's three directors Lana Wachowski (formerly Larry Wachowski).



The film, due in theaters in late October, spans several genres, hundreds of years and tests the limits of its actors, including Halle Berry and Tom Hanks, who play multiple characters.

And as the directors explain in the video Hollywood studios initially balked at the idea of a film with three directors.

Lady Gaga making film debut. Director Robert Rodriguez said he was 'blown away' by working with Gaga on his 'Machete' follow-up.

Lady Gaga makes film debut, Director Robert Rodriguez has revealed Lady Gaga's movie debut. She has just completed filming her role as La Chameleon in 'Machete Kills', his sequel to 2010's grind house actioner 'Machete'.

Tweeting enthusiastically, Rodriguez said: “I just finished working with @LadyGaga on @MacheteKills, she kicked so much a Holy Smokes. Blown away.”

Gaga in turn tweeted back confirming her work on the film, adding: “Yes its true, I will be making my debut as an actress in the amazing MACHETE KILLS BY @RODRIGUEZ IM SO EXCITED!!! AH! Filming was insane.”

Rodriguez also tweeted a picture of her on a poster, wearing what appears to be a wolf.

There's no release date as yet, but it has as star-studded a cast as its predecessor.

Appearing alongside Gaga and Danny Trejo's ex-cop Machete Cortez are Mel Gibson, Jessica Alba, Michelle Rodriguez, Cuba Gooding Jr, Sofia Vergara and a cameo from Charlie Sheen as the President of the United States.

The plot centres on Machete being hired by the US government to track down an arms dealer in Mexico who is planning to launch a weapon into space.

Warner Bros. to Make 'Substantial' Donation to Colorado Shooting Victims. Warner Bros. will reportedly donate a "substantial" amount to the victims of the shooting rampage.

Warner Bros., the studio behind The Dark Knight Rises, is making a donation to charities supporting victims of the Aurora, Colo., shooting rampage.

Sources tell The Hollywood Reporter that the studio has been in contact with Colorodo governor John Hickenlooper's office and will contribute to a fund identified by the governor on the website givingfirst.org, which is a program of Colorado's Community First Foundation.

 The fund distributes monies across several charities that will support victims of the July 20 killing spree that left at least 12 dead and dozens injured.
